Artist Biography

Established ceramics artist Richard Shaw presents new trompe l'oeil porcelains influenced by his interest in Renaissance art. Using slip-cast and hand built clay Richard Shaw produces an incredible variety of surfaces and textures which he then finishes using silk screen decal over-glazes. Richard Shaw's work is included in many public collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
